A priest and a taxi driver reach the Heaven's Gate. St. Peter gives the taxi driver a silk robe, a golden sceptre and a silver crown leading him to Heaven. To the priest he gives a linen robe, a wooden staff and a crown of flowers, showing him the entrance to Heaven.
The priest, somewhat indignant, says to St. Peter:
-How is it possible that to me, the one who served the Lord so many years, you offered a wooden staff and a crown of flowers and to the taxi driver you gave a scepter and a real crown?
-You see, man, says St. Peter, here we receive the people according to certain criteria of performance. While you were preaching, everyone slept in the church, but while the taxi driver drove, everyone in the car prayed!
